Test Post from Word 2007

I'm writing this post in Word 2007 to test its abilities to do Blog Posts. This is a new function in Word 2007 and Blogger is one of the services it supports. Very nice.

The Best Driving Ever

WOW!! My wife just accomplished one of the best driving feats ever. We needed to make the 10:00 PM ferry out of Bridgeport. We hit the junction of I-91 and I-95 in New Haven, Connecticut at 9:45 PM. The distance to Bridgeport was approximately 20 Miles. She drove extremely well in time to make the ferry, even with heavy traffic and a construction delay. WOW!!!

It's been a long time...

It's been a long time since I've written old-fashioned sword and sorcery; I'm hoping it's like riding a bicycle. --Lynn Abbey
So, this is what posting is like, I had almost forgotten. I hope that it is like riding a bicycle. I also hope to do it more consistently, at least for the summer while I'm taking a break from school. I have a lot of interesting plans for the summer, including a couple of Sox games, a vacation in Pennsylvania, some changes and improvements at work (a lot of opportunities there). In addition, I finished my last "writing-intensive" course requirement for the Harvard Extension School and I feel the need to stretch and exercise my writing muscles. It seems these days that I spend a good chunk of my day writing and it is a skill that needs improvement. So, please, be critical of my posts. It is the only way I will learn. Thank You.

On the Bus

I'm on the bus on the way home frm work. My job has been stresing me out lately. I have a to-do list that grows exponentially and finals in the next two weeks. I feel like I'm drowning. Thank God, I have good co-workers that help meout and keep me grounded.
