Daedalus on St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day at River Gods.
St.Patrick's Day Pub crawl from Grafton Street Grille, to Daedalus, to the Cellar, to the Plough & Stars, the Field, and finally River Gods. It was impossible to find a cab. To go home I had to take the 64 bus to Union Square in Brighton and walk home from there.

Bad news - we discovered that $3500 was stolen from our checking account. Apparently someone got a hold of my credit card number that was on my debit card and charged some items while they were in Rio. We're working on getting the money back now.
That's the big news in our life.

First, a few notes, the last two posts were experiments with blogger mobile. I feel they worked well and probably setup PeggyAnn's and my other phones. Going to try to revamp and improve the site. Improve the formatting, widen the central column, figuring out why blogger inserts a <div clear="both"></div> before and after every post. I also need to research and apply the IE box model hack. I'm also thinking of a lighter color scheme and the possibility off a CSS style switcher. What site's design do you like the best?
This last weekend was one of the best of my life. In celebration of my 30th birthday my lovely wife flew in my bestest friend Jill and her husband Andy. Surprising me while making merry at Shay's PeggyAnn arrived with our surprise guests. I feigned the best surprise face ever while, simultaneously, PeggyAnn and Jill both denounced my emotion. I ruined the surprise a few weeks prior, by uncovering a bit of evidence accidentally with my curiosity. Much merriment was then upon that establishment and two others before continuing our celebration at our house. We finished early in the morning.
The next morning I awoke at 11ish and found that Jill had been awake since eight. Heidi came by with some breakfast pizza. We all hung out for a but before Heidi had to go to work, Mike and PeggyAnn had to go back to sleep, and Jill and I decided to go see the Star Wars exhibit at the Museum of Science. Unfortunately, tickets were not available for the exhibit that day. Therefore, I decided that I would take Jill and to the waterfront and we would have a bowl of Boston Clam Chowder and catch up. It was a great idea except for the fact that the two places I wanted to go the Barking Crab and Jimmy's on the Pier for both closed. So we ended up just taking the scenic route back to the house. We all had a delightfully delectable dinner at Morton's steakhouse that evening. Hopping in cabs after the meal we headed for the North End and Stanza dei Sigari. Most us had a nice cigar and some drinks. I had a wonderful glass of McCallen 30 year old scotch. After that, we hit another pub and returned home.
The following morning we woke up and took Jill and Andy back to the airport, I was very sad to see them leave so soon. It was like a tease to have such a short time to spend with them. I returned home and PeggyAnn, Vös, and I relaxed and took naps, read books, and watched movies for the rest of our Sunday. In the end, it was one of the best weekends I ever had. I wish we had remebered to bring a camera. Thank You everyone for had a hand in this weekend, I love you all so much for giving me this memory for the rest of me life.
